With this installation, the follow-up to Reflected Waves, we wish to create a sonic form, like a sculpture essentially made of the voices of people there, living nearby, or simply passing by.
We count on the voices, the passage, that idea of a place half-inside / half-outside, the necessary passage - the «entrance» - the organisation of a sound environment to be experienced while passing through, but also composing a literal sound space. In addition, we seek to explore the confrontation between multiple levels of perception, a confrontation creating a secondary, mental space organised by the simultaneity of meaning and matter, signals and forms, continuity and silence, music and speech, and so forth.
