Another masterful outing by Lopez. Does he ever sleep. From airy stereo scrapes, the same figure turns to metal and then underwater through the artist's deft alchemical interventions. At 23 minutes there are heavenly soft touches, then a sizzling ice capade at 27 minutes. It ends with a wind suite, softly brushing reeds then building to a storm.
