part 2- the forge


The composition discloses three original listening territories arising from all the processes used in making a bell.
My work is a "descension" inside this humming feeding itself on the vibratile particles of the foundry. By penetrating the sound strata of this matter the ear goes deep into this neverending workshops clamour which is saturating the space. Everything here, even the sound dust, is set in motion by workers who are bringing forth again and again complex trajectories for all these materials.
