These recordings present an investigation from our time on the construction site of the Philharmonie in 2013, supplementary to those that appeared on our CD Chantier 4. Over the months on site we spent our time drifting amongst the workers, experimenting with the musicality of the site; playing in contact with the sounds of the workers in their spaces. Chantier 4 inédits presents the other part of our project; explorations of the freshly created, yet pre-functional interior spaces. In these almost silent concrete spaces we move away from the representation of the building site to explore the essence of architecture: the making of interior space. (éric la casa)

Avec ces enregistrements inédits, nous souhaitons faire entendre un aspect important de notre travail sur le chantier de la Philharmonie, en 2013. Au fil des mois, nous avons passé notre temps à déambuler, dériver dans ce dédale d'espaces en devenir, au milieu de tous ces ouvriers au travail. Dans le CD Chantier 4, nous avons expérimenté des écritures musicales principalement en contact avec des ouvriers dans leurs espaces de travail. Ici, nous abordons l'autre partie du chantier : celle qui concerne les espaces intérieurs fraichement créés, et en attente de fonction. Là, dans ces intérieurs de béton, nus et quasi silencieux, nous avons tenté de nous éloigner de la représentation du chantier pour explorer la dimension première de l'architecture : la fabrique de l'espace intérieur.
